Eric Pulier: The Innovational Entrepreneur

The tech industry has provided one of the greatest business opportunities that the world has ever seen. The internet has become an equalizer: anybody, anywhere, can build themselves up to become a force if they desire it. Eric Pulier is one of those individuals who took advantage of the tech industry in order to become a titan, an innovator, and a true success story. Let’s walk through Eric Pulier’s wide ranging and varied path in order to come to an understanding to just how the XPrize founder has become who he is.


It all starts in a little place called New Jersey. Pulier was born and raised there but it was apparent all too soon that he had his eyes on bigger things. For one, Pulier was fascinated with computers ever since his childhood. By the fourth grade Pulier was playing with computers and seriously working to program them. Keep in mind, this was the ’80s — far earlier than when it was prevalent to have a computer at home. So Pulier busted his tail in order to maximize his ability with a computer. By the time he graduated high school he was running his own computer company.


Next up on the track was a diversion to Harvard where he would graduate Magna Cum Laude. Pulier also wrote and edited the Harvard Crimson, the school paper, but that was all behind him as he set out to Los Angeles. Pulier knew that he wanted to pursue his dreams. He wanted to become in innovator in the tech industry, one of the largest booming markets in the world. Pulier was ready to get his share of the pie and he did so without thinking twice.


Eric Pulier landed in Los Angeles and immediately began a successful career as an entrepreneur. He worked with his own start ups, “People Doing Things” was a tech company that worked in healthcare, before moving on to his foundation work. Pulier would be the brains behind XPrize — his most effective and innovative start up. Pulier wanted to create a foundation that rewarded teens and children who were fascinated with innovating the tech industry. What’s next for Eric Pulier?
