EOS – Popular Lip Balm Brand Dominates the Market

A popular lip balm brand is scaling the market and taking over at a rapid rate. According to frenchtribune.com, EOS lip balm has taken lip balm to a whole new level. Over a century ago, you could find the original flavored lip balm with a quite boring product. EOS has formed colorful balls of flavor available to the public. They entered the over-saturated market seven years ago and haven’t looked back. The flavors that are produced are intense and delightful, offering a definitive place in the market for each individual.

EOS, which stands for Evolution of Smooth, can be found in most stores like Walgreens, Walmart, Target and some convenient stores. The founders of the popular lip balm are finally speaking out about their success in an interview with Fast Company. The $250 million dollar company has dominated the market with their flavorful yet beneficial products.

They’ve paid special attention to the design of the lip balm bobs. They analyzed many individuals who were tired of trying to find lip balm in their purse. They liked the idea of having lip balm in a “pot’ but didn’t necessarily like the idea of using their fingers for hygiene reasons. So they invented an elevated round mound of lip balm that can be applied directly to the lips, eliminating the use of fingertips. Check also youtube.com for details.

EOS currently sells over 1 million products per week. Their future creating lip balm looks successful, and they hope to steadily build to $2 billion by 2020. Their demand for product was driven by natural and organic ingredients, which is their direct specialty. Sanjiv Mehra, EOS co-founder, explains that their drive for natural and organic ingredients are some of the values that the company stands for, and she feels that it’s important for others to know more about the company and the driving force behind their products.
