Dr. Saad Saad was born in the 1940s in Palestine. At a young age, his family was evicted from their home and forced to live in West Bank. After some time, his father found a job as a petroleum mechanic in Kuwait, and he migrated with his family. Dr. Saad Saad, therefore, spent most of his young life as a refugee in Kuwait.
While in Kuwait, his father showed him the importance of hard work and pursuing higher education. He was convinced that it is only through higher education that Saad would secure his future and that of the family.
Dr. Saad Saad followed the advice of his father and worked very hard in school to qualify to the university. He had the opportunity of joining Cairo University for his degree program. He took up medical studies as his major and at the end graduated with honors. With this accomplishment, he found an internship in England and later got a chance to move to the United States.
In the United States, his first mission was to gain certification by the US medical board of pediatric surgery. He was determined to become a board-certified pediatric surgeon. He was determined to make a difference in the medical industry by first achieving the necessary certification.
This was a rare achievement for many doctors in the country, but Dr. Saad Saad did not have major challenges accomplishing it. His passion and drive to succeed were already sufficient to move him to another level of growth.
Dr. Saad Saad has worked in the Middle East as a private pediatric surgeon for the Saudi Royal Family as well as a volunteer in Palestine on different medical missions. In Palestine, he has left a great legacy as a professional who came back to his birthplace to bring changes.
Between 2003 and 2015, Dr. Saad Saad trained tens of surgeons from Palestine on how to conduct complex medical surgeries. As he retires, he is happy that he has contributed greatly to the development of his birthplace.
