YouTuber Kim Dao loves to share her travels across Japan with the rest of the world. One recent Japan-focused travel vlog posted by Kim is called “Japan Vlog: Zao Fox Village in JAPAN | キツネ村.” In this video, Kim Dao visits the celebrated Zao Fox Village in the Miyagi Prefecture.
Kim Dao starts out the video telling viewers that it costs 1,000¥ to enter the Zao Fox Village. After Kim and her boyfriend pay their fees to go inside, she is amazed by all of the foxes running around in the snow. Unfortunately, it’s forbidden to touch any of the foxes because they do bite.
As she stands in the middle of the village, Kim Dao estimates that there are at least 100 foxes all around her. She takes numerous camera shots of the foxes sleeping, playing, and trotting about in the picturesque snow.
Dao explains how visitors can buy food for the foxes for 100¥ once they get inside the village. However, people who purchase the food are asked to feed the foxes from a designated elevated area. Kim then purchases a packet of food and throws it down to dozens of hungry foxes below her.
As Kim Dao is throwing down the treats, one fox jumps up and clutches onto a railing. After a few moments, however, this especially ravenous fox falls back to the ground with his furry companions.
One white fox actually pees on Kim Dao’s sock later in the video. She embarrassingly shows her pee stain to the camera.
